Hope you enjoyed the quick peek ^_^
Gonna finish it up next paycheck. Need the last $200 to clean up the final purchases. And Ill have something that cost me a fraction to operate vs my MH's. And go 10 years w/out bulb replacement...aka throwing it away.

I can mix and match the color scheme in any combo beetween the Blue and White.
The control box lets me adjust and monitor the voltage so I can have an accurate picture of exactly how much output each panel is doing. 2w and 2b.
When its done Ill have 4 panels w/8 banks of light.
4w & 4b.

There has been some questions via PM about proper settings for lights.
To answer everyone who might also ask:
I don't know. However, from what I am told, the crossing of 50/50 B/W produces about a 14k spectrum. Its a nice vibrant white, that looks better than any MH 14k Ive ever seen. The color its saturated.

Recently I have read posts that say they get better results at 60/40 B/W. And use the Q5's for Whites. The problem with Q5's is they only have 40 degree optics. That means you have to raise your array higher, and put 40degree optics on the Blues as well, to get a matching spread.

As for mine, I have had these up for almost 2 weeks, and overall my tank seems to like it.
I have great polyp extension. I have the array running at 350MA, (roughly 30% power).
W/B are both matched at the same level. I only turn down the whites when I'm in the room and want to WOW people with the color.

Its more of a nighttime look for the tank. And HOLY MOLY! it looks amazing! They glow like neon!

For further reading, here is a thread made by people with testimonials to LED's:

Read the good and the bad. But if you look, the bad always seems to be from reefers who went skimpy, or turned it up to high. Or tried to experiment off the beaten path, and it backfired. Overall Nobody can really knock them. They do however evidently fade colors after a long period of time. But that seems to coincide with people using garbage builds.

There are evidently special UV light LED's that enhance coral color saturation. Ill probably incorporate these at a later date.I just need to do my research on them.
