I have been living in Long Island NY alll my civilian life and we just got a hail storm with rain like I have never seen here before. The hailstones were almost as large as baseballs and they even broke the rear window on my car and made some dents.
Really wierd. :suspicious::doh:

Thats nuts! I've never seen hail that big. We would get them golf ball sized in Iowa, but never any bigger than that.
Bummer about the window.

I was more worried about my solar panels on my roof. When the rain stops I will go up there to check it out. I am sure plenty of car windows broke as I can't get GEICO on the phone and trees are down all over the place. It was about 93 degrees here today and the grass is all covered in ice balls.

Man-O-Man is Mother Nature ever PO'd at you guys this year Paul. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Cheers, Todd

That sucks Paul! We only had hail once in the Bahamas and this was before I was born. Did you take any pics?

My solar panel.
Only one is smashed. Not too bad but they are $500.00

I just noticed that all of my goldfish in my pond croaked so I had to drain the pond and clean it out. It must have been from all the ice in the pond. The surface was covered in large hailstones and it must have chilled the water instantly.

Better them than me
