So Brie - for a newbie like me; now that the nitrite is zero & the cycle is over - what's the best bang-for-the-buck beginner coral?

Wait for your tank to mature atleast another month before you start putting corals in. You could probably get away with a zoa frag or a softie but it is best to wait.

Yeah, let your tank stabilize and mature before you take the dive into corals. Once you've proven to yourself that you can maintain your water parameters at all times and see good coralline algae growth then you can start to think about adding corals. You also need to make sure that you have equipment adequate to the task of providing a suitable environment. Take the time to get your tank setup in order and you'll be much more likely to have success.

It looks like I'll no longer need a Klein's butterfly. Although I've not witnessed it yet, it's become apparent that the Falcula butterfly I got from you last week is eating aiptasia now. They're practically all gone already. I've also found that he likes to eat blood worms, though ignores almost all other food including mysis. So if you were only going to order some Kleins for my sake, then don't bother now.

Thanks again to everyone at BRA. I was there Saturday night an hour before closed with the wife and twins. I am really enjoying my new PhosBan Reactor, ReefPods (well the fish are enjoying them), Magnesion-P, Pink Birds Nest and Crocea Clam!
