New Corals from Shark Reef In!

Well I cleaned the glass 2/3 down on the viewing side. USed a 7' x 18" plank this time so i would have something to lay on and not get my stomach in the water.

The coral I exchanged for a couple days ago is really rediculous in color. It is a brilliant yellow like I have never seen in person. It looks almost unreal. I will try to get a pic tomorrow.

Great dive pics BTW. I used to dive but can't now that I have a brain injury. I dove the Middle East when Ras Mohamed was still Israel.

So Ed came by today and we chatted for about 3 hours...or well, we drank for about 3 hours and chatted for a few minutes. He brought a couple cool frags which I thought was a really nice thing to do.

I know the color is off in these shots but I just didn't have the brains to adjust the white balance <urp>...

I also discovered a system anomoly that may be playing part in my LPS problems. I discovered that my kalk stirrer is stirring too much up and the cloud is getting all the way to the top. This may occassionally be pumping straight kalk into the system. I turned the speed down.

Yeah well the fridge does make the visit a little better. Had a good time BSing with you and Rick enjoyed meeting you too. Sherman hid in his house all day. He's afraid... :lol:

By the way... those 3-hours you were talking about that we were visiting, were actually 5 hours... trust me, my other half let me know!!!

I just hope those little frags I brought over find a good home, and after seeing your system, I know they will guy!!

5 hours? You left at 3 didn't you?? And my other half doesn't say a word. I have heard this from other guys, but honestly, if my tank talked to me, I would go see a doctor. I mean, I DO get some nasty looks from the clowns, and that weird begging grin from the mysteri wrasse, but they have never talked to me!

Frags look good and I'll wait for Sherman to help me saw off that base. That was a good idea on your part that I never really considered.
