Where too begin... Well I found a few nice looking white/greenish starfishes, but the LFS seems to think they are preditory for SPS and LPS corals. Then My clown started getting spots which could be that it started hosting in a different shroom since I moved the rock a little, but the LFS said it could also be a Fireworm. Two nights ago I saw the little pink/orange iridesint fuzzy bugger. I wonder if that is what got my Skipper Blenny?

Did the worm look like this?

If so, then it is a harmless bristleworm. They will scavenge, so if your Blenny was already gone, then it would eat to clean up.

What did the spots on your clown look like? Any chance of posting a pic of the starfish?

I haven't been able to get a real good look at the Bristle but that one looks pretty close. The Blenny was probaly not getting enough food and had been looking a bit thin before I left for my trip, I had been feeding mostly flake with miscis shrimp about once a week.

The spots on the clown are black and iregular in both size and shape. They also look to be below the surface and not attacked to the outside. My best guess is that after moving the rock whichis covered by the muchrooms he hosts in, he started trying to host in a different shromm in the group and it may hve not likes that. I have since adjusted the rock so he can get to his old shroom. Aside from the black spots he appears healthy and eats well and act like he always has.

As for the Starfish the best pic I have is attached as well as a a pic of the now spotted Clown.

My OC clowns have the same spots. They developed before any nesting in Mushrooms.
