I hate it when your in the middle of typeing a good story, and you click something STUPId, and you loose your hole shabam.

anyway

the candy coral is in my tank, It blew up over night. i didnt look anything like that yesterday. The damaged heads, will come back (I feel)

the acro hasnt opend all the way yet.

these are the 2 acro's i kindda nuked with joes juice by mistake..
( the 2 aptsia are back and bigger) but thats another thread,

i have 4 sps frags in that 5.5
2 softies and a clam.

now since i used the joes juice that tank hasnt bin the same...

the acro i had where open and happy then i did that stupid amount of juice in there, and they closed up for about a week.... i did several water changes almost right away cause i noticed that and after i did, I relized i shouldnt have done in it a tank that small.. but anyway.

they looked like they where dead for about 3 weeks, and only now show signs that there comeing back. (color and small pylop extention)

But the new 2 havent opend yet.

i was thinking maybe i should not do a sps tank only in the nano?
thats a bad idea? its already hard enough, IF we had a sump i could do a ATO, and it would Be cake!

so meny thoughts so meny thoughts.. someone slap me

The frags look great! Did you watch your pH level when you were using Joes Juice? It's basically concentrated kalk which will raise pH if used in excess. Could be why the corals closed up. ;)

naw i didnt test anything.....

one thing i found is that puting air in to the tank helped the surface stay clear and clean

I think you're right in that keeping sps corals can be hard enough but in trying to keep stable water params in that small of a water volumn is going to be really hard. I know that people that want to keep clams in that small of a nano we try to talk them out of it.

WELL, (god im in a bad mood i just wanna lash out) but i wont.

its not hard, Im keeping a clam NP

the water is stable, and keeping the params in check isnt hard.

My consern was more with not knowing what SPS are more agressive then others.... And not knowing what not to mix with other sps's

as far as keeping the 5.5, thats not hard. you just have to be home morning and night to add water.

ya just bad day i guess....

i guess im in need of a good SPS info sight... so i can find what i want and what i have.
