lol, elmo don't worry, i like sand too, aside from the benefits i've found with it i like the look better, though i don't do dsb, i haven't invested that much yet, i should probably get rid of my cc though... lol the things if i could redo it...

Well guys everything went very well. I removed the sand bed and changed the lighting to radium 20ks and it looks great. The skimmers working fine and thanks to lizardarm all the plumbing went together great. I do intend to add a squid to get more flow in the tank. I built the rock up away from the back of the tank to hopefully maximize flow to avoid trapping food and detritus.

I will hopefully post some pictures tonight

Nice seeing you too Tom. Thanks for the frags too. I cant seem to get a full shot that looks good. Its either way too blue or I get a glare from the flash. Its alot more blue in the pictures than when you actually see it.

does you camera have a adjustable white balance? If it does you set it by pointing it at something white or grey inside the tank. That will help, but it takes a couple tries before I am happy with the result.

Ok, turns out my camera has an auto white balance where you point, wait and shoot. So here it is.... My full tank shot!
Hope you guys like it. As you can tell between the two pics, I still haven't got the white balance figured out completely. Its hard to tell from the photos, but the rocks are not stacked against the wall. There is a 3 inch gap all along the back side.
Oh and the bulbs are 2 250w 20,000k radiums and no actinics.

I think the second ones closer to actual coloring of everything. The first pic seems to look green.

Heres the best I can get. He is camera shy I guess. His tail is orange with a light blue stripe where its connected to his body, it looks like a white tail in the pics. The outline of his stripes are kinda electric blue with a more white with blue tint coloring in the rest of the stripe.

Just wanted to show you guys a couple things I got this week. A frogspawn from Diablo and an elegance and torch from Indoor Reef. Sorry, I couldn't get a great pic of the torch. :p
