New Marine preserve

What are all of your thoughts? I think it's a good step towards preserving marine life and their environments.

I would love to go to one of those remote Hawaiian islands and "escape" for a few weeks. The diving there must be AWESOME! This is great news for the reefs around the world etc... Maybe it will lead the way for other countries to follow suit and start protecting our precious oceans and marine life.

ahh i wish i could do that too , It'd be awesome to get away from here and just relax by the beach.
Yeah it'd be nice if other countries did the same thing.

The first thing that crossed my mind when I first heard this was that this is just something to make the environmentalists happy so they don't rip on him wanting to drill for oil in Alaska.

Regardless, this is a great opporitunity to preserve this area for years to come.
