some new ones of my tank...

1. Vlamengii
2. clown trigger
3. red sea bird wrasse
4. Acanthurus Blochii
5. Naso Brievirostris and Annularis angel

So it looks like that substrate is thin ? Am I correct and if so thats to make it easier to cleanout and replace as sharks and all those fish can get messy ?

Donovan, your tank looks great man! I love that tank. If I ever get out of corals or get the nerve to setup another tank your's is pretty much my strting point for planning.

For those that haven't seen it in person, the pictures do it no justice...Killer fish, super healthy, and fun to look at. Especially when food hits the water.

The substrate is real thin - just enough to cover the bottom - I have alot of water flow for a fish only tank - not much settles into the bottom.

The corals are fairly easy to keep clean - I don't have the lights on very often - maybe a couple of hours in the evenings. I have a pretty big skimmer and UV filter as well.

The corals are not replicas - the proper term is "fake" :D

Fake or whatever, that tank looks sweet.

Love the open swimming room and not harvesting coral from the ocean is nothing to sneeze at.

Makes me second guess my new setup I'm planning.
