New pics

Okay, hope this works. I seem to have forgot how to post pics in the thread. I usually post a link to my Flickr site, but I know I used to be able to post the pic directly to the thread, from Flickr, using [img*] tags.

This morning, I took a bunch of pics of my 75. Would like to post some, but can't seem to figure it out. I'd thought that all I needed to do was type [img*]webpage with pic[/img*]. without the *s. However, I tried this and it didn't work. So here goes again.

What am I doing wrong?? I'd rather not go through the hassle of resizing, saving, uploading and all that...lol. Is that my only option?

I prefer Smugmug, there you can upload full resolution images, and they resize for you.

OK, I opened your link, clicked on your photo to open, then right-clicked. From the menu that appears, select Properties. Copy the URL within the properties. In your thread click on the "Insert Image" icon and paste the URL into the address frame that pops up. That should do it.

Thanks Dang!! Only thing I'm curious about now is why can't my pics be clicked on and viewed larger? Is that because I'm linking them with tags as apposed to loading from my gallery? I just really don't want the hassle of resizing, saving again, uploading to gallery.....lol.

i used phobucket.com to upload the pics into the site then ,,just copy and paste,,,let me try to do with yours.

I used to use Photobucket, but find more options available for hosting pics with Flickr. I will say Photobucket did make posting to forums easier...lol.

Hmmm so how did you do that? I still can't click on it though. The pics on Flickr are original sizes. I don't resize before uploading.
