I have just added a 3 inch porcupine puffer to my 120 fish only tank. his tankmates include a 5 inch lunar wrasse and a 9 inch snowflake eel which are currently eating squid an krill. he has only been in the tank for about 24 hours but hasn't taken any food yet. is there any room for concern? i was cosidering trying live food such as guppies or ghost shrimp.

do not feed your puffer feshwater fish it will shorten their lifespan considerably. try prawns or even un cooked salad shrimp but do yourself a favor. i worked at the seattle aquarium for a few years taking care of their puffers. puffers are messy so you want to clean tank often. they eat alot so they poop a lot so a good mech filter is best. protect them from powerheads and in let pipes. they can be hand fed till they reach a largersize and they are prone to ich
