Hey all Im buying a new Sequence Dart pump to go along with the new acrylic sump im building and I have a question.
What will I need to hook this up to my sump for the inlet ? I have the output figured out mostly i have to reduce down to 1" pipe.
What am I going to need ie: bulkheads, adapters, I dont have the pump yet,it will get here Tuesday and I want to have everything here to finish putting the new sump together... TIA...

Here is a pic of my dart setup

its 2" input and 1 1/2" output

raised for draining to clean and unions all around ;)

These are flow pumps, not really designed for sump returns under head pressure but many people do use them for that purpose. It isn't recommended to reduce the plumbing down like that, it will make the pump run much hotter, louder & use more power, you can do the same with many other pumps that are designed for pressure & do it more efficiently, If you call reeflow they can tell you what would work best for your application. What size sump is this for anyways?

twilliard, thanks for the pics that helps me ,now I know what I need to do...

Scooterman, I know most people use these pumps for closed loops, but I need a pump that just moves water from my sump to my main, I have two Seio 1100's for my main flow in the tank. The Dart is also rated for 12' of head pressure. I have three pumps in my old sump now and Im replacing them with the dart, All that water is going to have three outlets to flow and I constantly read about people getting these pumps and putting a valve right at the outlet to reduce the flow anyway with no issue, well atleast there not posting any...
If this doesnt work my wife will be telling me "See Scooterman told you so"...
Thanks for the pics and opinions guys... This is why I like coming here, you always get both sides.
