New Rock (Pictures)

I was able to see Chuck's tank this week, and hmm it's looking very nice.

The overall shapes and structure of the rock makes up for its 'whiteness'.

Nice corals on top, too

You "rock" chuck...wait isn't that a little furry critter??? Nice job. I love that Pukeonme....I mean pukani rock too...thats what I want for my 180...when I get going on it.

Thanks Elmo ... you saw it pristine for sure. I am betting I will go through some sort of an algae cycle. After all the tub was pitch black it was in and around 100F Bound to have some action in the tank now that it is only 80 and in the "sun"

Wow, I just ran across this thread! I am wondering the size of your tank and apx. how many pounds of that gorgeous Pukani went into your display? It looks awesome! I'm going to be in the market for rock very soon so it was great to be able to check yours out. Did you get it locally? I am amazed that there are so many reefers here who are apparently from Washington.

My tank is 75 gallons. SPS tank with only a few fish. I used probably 75 lbs of live rock out of the 88 lb box that I got. There are a lot of reefers from the area for sure.
