I got this coral today...can someone with more experience with SPS help me ID it...I'd really appreciate it.

Photo is a bit dull but, the tips are nice purple and the small tenticles are neon green; main area is light brownish. HELP~!~!

Hello,
It's likely to be Acropora valida or A. nana. The branches are unusually thick for A. valida but it could be due to water flow or the fact that they haven't grown out yet.

Regards,
Kevin

Thank you; it is the closest to A. Valida after the lead and comparing to all the photos on the internet. When it grows large enough to frag..i'll send all of you a piece of the frag..if u want to raise sps. Thank you.
