I have been reading the temp posts and I to had a fluctuation in heat ebo jager 250 in a 180 the temps on the top of the heater are not accurate mine is set at 74 and my tank stays at a 77.9 to 78.7 My digital therometer is showing correct. It took me about 2 weeks to get the temp stabilized
