Hi, thanks for all the nice comments, the tank has been up for eight years, i just changed most of my live rock it was about time to get some new life in there, so now the coraline is taking off again.

cool it kinda looked like it could have been an older tank, but with out the corraline I thought it might be a little new. Looks like its on its way to being a gooden

That is a sweet looking system! Do all of your inverts do alright with that amount of light? I wanted to get some of those things, including a clam/clams but I have to same amount of light wattage and was afraid it wasn't enough. Great job on the tank...

Nice! It's good to see that there are plenty of low light corals to fill the average size tank. MH aren't required to keep corals and your tank is a good example of that.

Hi, yes my inverts do fine, they kinnda hide in the day including my cucumber, the bulbs i get are very (bright) don't ask me why, but they are, as far as the clam go's when i bought the clam it was one inch i took it out of the tank every other day and started feeding DT's, now its going on seven inches. thanks for your nice comments.--------My Lagoon

Your right Kevin, there are many corals out there that will do very well without mh, i'm going more to sps corals, Thanks.---------My Lagoon

You may know this already but for others who don't, SPS on average require much more light intensity than PC's or VHO's can provide. There are exceptions however so research your coral's needs before purchasing so you won't be disappointed when they turn brown or die.

Your right you must do your homework, i have no problems with my sps growing, i don't mean just doing good, but to see growth and the coral getting larger. ---------My Lagoon
