Hello all,
Been working at this "reef" thing since Jan 2005. Up to this point I've relied on Fenner's Consciencious & Moe's Handbook like crazy. Don't know why I didn't come here to ask/listen/learn from your collective experience sooner - but here I am.
I met Elmo when I got some cap frags from him about 4 weeks ago (It grows like crazy!)

My setup:
46 gal Bowfront Acrylic (SeaClear)
~50 lbs LR (mostly liveaquaria Fiji)
Substrate *removed*
No sump
250W 14k HQI (IceCap)
192W PC (50/50 10k & actinic)
RBTA + ocellaris pair
Firefish
Radiant wrasse
Royal gramma
Monti cap (orange)
Zoos, Mushrooms
Hair algae...

Hey let me be the first to welcome you to our forum!!! Thanks for deciding to join us here. The tank looks nice, and as for flat worms, they are not the worst thing in the world trust me on that. Usually they only thrive in tanks w/ DSB's or tanks w/ too much nutrients. What I would do if I was you is make sure that you are basting your rocks daily, and regularly siphon those buggers out while doing your weekly water change. In no time they will be history.

dont stress over flatworms. With time and reduction of nutrients they will diappear
