im new well to everything saltwater, washington state, and to RF lol. where would i go to get a custom tank built out of glass? also how do i make/where do i go to order a coast to coast overflow? im planning on a custom 300 gallon tank or a 450 gallon tank

I am not sure if their are any glass makers in Seattle any more. I ended up getting mine out of Canada.

Welcome to RF and the state!!

No WA has a bunch of stores (check our sponsors) we also have alot of clubs and a ton of reefers. In Tacoma however its a little tougher.

Lots of coral shops and reefers out here. I don't have a big tank, but my impression was people usually did big tanks like that out of plexiglas.

For sure there are people to do custom plexi in seattle. May want to start a thread in the 'tanks over 300 gallons' forum

Yes, welcome to the beautiful state of Washington. Where did you come here from?
Really looking forward to your tank build. Go BIG!
Hope you can find someone to do it. If you cant find something you need, you can always post a want ad in the classifieds here on RF. Someone may have what your looking for or know where to find it.
I'm not familiar with Tacoma LFS's but we have some great local ones in the sponsors forums.

some out in the tacoma area would include indoor reef, aquarium paradise, and wildside.
I like tropical fish world in sumner for my fish and sometimes u score lucky with a coral they cant take care of.
Welcome to the state and the addiction of sw!

Try living in Shelton and try to have a reef aquarium! :frown:
I either have to drive 30 minutes to Olympia for two stores (soon to be 1) that aren't great or an hour to either Lakewood or Silverdale. I really like Shark Reef in Silverdale though! Wish they were closer.

Wild side is in spanaway. But Their pre mix is spendy. I haven't been able to price more than that. Indoor reef is my fave, decent prices, but their fish is lacking due to being ran out of Josh's house. He does have corals still FS. Aquarium paridice is ok. And price is ok. They tend to deal more in fresh tho.

I can get you a custom starfire aquarium built to custom specs in washington state . i currently am having a 96x36x30 built . call me
