New to SPS tank a 65 G story

Well this is my set up.

My tank is in my computer room; right beside my closet in the corner. It was the only place i could set it up. So its a 2 way view if you like, ya i know but that how it is.

Thats the RO/DI reservoir, a rain bucket actually.

Aquascaping

Did some aquascaping

You like my stalactite

The water foam used in the construction of the stalactite makes it float , bummer. I have to stablilise it with those accrylic rods and epoxy.

The return will be connected to the sculpture who has holes all along its structure and underneath to prevent dead spots.

The skimmer in full glory

Valves that leads to the skimmer and one to both carbon and phosban reactors. Another one goes to the structure and one is comming up for the fuge. With 910 GPH from the return pump i can play with it.

Problems with the stalactite

Oh yes , the stalactite being comprised of eggcrates marco rocks and also foam is floating. Leave it to a frenchman to invent floating rocks lol

Another problem, the top of the stalactite is burning up under the Halides.Leave it to a frenchman to invent burning rocks lol

So i did a bit of tweeking with it. I`ve lowered the thing a bit from this

Still floating, so a bit of epoxy and a couple of accrylic rods

One keep its underwater the other prevent floating

My closet space

Closet set up

Painted the closet with water and salt proof paint

Got a nice board to support the 700lb of RO water bucket

I had those made by a whelder, 2 stell braces capable of supporting 800 lb each. had to clean them before painting them.

3/4 inch plywood, 48"X20" painted the same paint can support up to 300 lb easy

My luck , i hit a concrete wall behing the drywall,
