Hello all,
I am new to both Reef Frontiers and the northern Seattle area. I just relocated from Florida.
I just hooked up my RO/DI unit and did a comparison of the water. My tap water registered 26ppm. The filtered water was 1ppm. The tap water reading seems too low. If Orlando, the tap water was 150-250 ppm. Anyone in Seattle have tap water readings?
I had a 55 gal reef in Orlando. With such a long move (took 5 weeks for my belongings to arrive), I sold my corals, inverts, fish and rock back to the local fish store. I used the credit to buy a 14 gal bio cube. I will start over with this set up this weekend. Once I decide if I like the area, I will move to a bigger setup.
This weekend, I will be looking for live rock. Anyone know of a good place to get live rock in Northern Seattle?
I look forward to being a part of Reef Frontiers.
