new twist on the sump addition...

well after yesterday messing with the overflow and return pump, everything was working well, got up this morning to feed the fish, the tank water, has a greenish tint to it, event the water in the sump, any ideas......almost looks cloudy never had this with the tank in all the years i have had it

i have also been raising the salinty over the past week from 019to 023 started out mixing the water, then later added the salt straight to the sump 1/4 cup at a time, not the brightest idea i ever had, had no r/o water at the time,,

What are your water parameters? Phosphate, nitrate, alk, ca, and whats the salinity now?

Stir up things & you'll get a bloom like that. Clean your tank & do a few extra water changes.

not sure on the others yet ,do know that the salinity is1.023

this week end is my normal water change, you do remember iam bb.....yesterday it was clear, got the over flow a almost full cap. water level in tank and sump where i want it, just the water falling over the box is alittle noisy...

ok, whats up....i got in today and the tank is clear, i didnt do anything....
