newborn bamboo shark

my shark is a week old and is finally eating.my question is he still had a sack attatched to his side which looks like a small marble,will this fall off after awhile.also he swims a small amount upside down is this normal.how long should it be before he swims normally instead of like crawling along the bottom

Bamboo cat sharks are bottom sharks the rarly swim freely in the water so dont count of him swimming in the open water, they practicaly just hop around the bottom looking for food and the rest of the time they are being lazy and hiding in the rocks digesting food..

The "marble" is just what's left of the yolk sack the shark fed off while in the egg capsule. It will eventually fade from the pup.

I always know when my shark is hungry because he will come out and swim around in the open.. but only when it is hungry..
