Brought my macro lens into the shop with me yesterday and got some pretty good shots. This one was my fav.

I was using flash, set on the lowest level, with a diffuser, and a slow shutter speed so it doesn't capture as much of the flash bounce.

I don't have a fancy external flash yet, so just using the onboard flash. The diffuser looks something like this:

If the flash is still too harsh, I go lo-tech and tape white paper over the diffuser for an added layer. lol.
