I saw reeffan's work at the meeting and everything looked really well designed. It got me to thinking that what I would like to find is a small footprint combo unit for running phospate and nitrate removal media. Possibly a dual canister system sitting on a single base?

Anyone have something like this?

SPLACHIE,
I have this reactor made for ERICK (AKA Salsa King) awhile ago. Below is a picture of what i have made for ERICK that he is currently using for his entire system(s). I believe around 1000+ gallon.....

Looks good reeffan, what would the footprint look like for a 400 gallon system and what would the cost run? Also could I get your estimates for footprint and cost for a 200 gallon system? I am at about 180 gallons right now but in about 4 years I am planning to move to a much bigger system and if I can afford the space it would be nice to upsize now.

Thanks SPLACHIE. For 400 gallon, I would suggest a 4 1/2 OD tube with a footprint of 12X12X21 total height. And for the 200 gallon, it would be 12X12X15 total height. You will also need a pump to run the unit. I suggest a Mag 3 pump or similar pump to run the the unit. Also, I believe in reef frontiers regulation, im not alllowed to give a price in this board. I would break the rules if i do. Just drop me an E-mail or PM me directly so i can give you a price quote. ;)
