If you get ro/di water you don't need dechlor. When you premix your water use a powerhead and airpump with stone and heater. Let it cure for 24hrs. Test your new water and tank water before the change for nitrate and nitrite. You might also check and see if your lfs has premixed saltwater.

I like IO. But I think you are overfeeding your tank. A half a cube for a 30 gallon? I feed less than that in my 125...
