If you plan to have a reef tank, the uv sterilizer is probably not a good idea. Fish only, great. A uv will kill all the little critters in the water column, the ones you want as wellas the ones you don't.
Not bad to have for Hostpital Tank, but what tyou have maybe alittle big. You could always sell or trade it. Also if it is used, plan on replacing the bulb. I am pretty sure they are only good for about a year!
