Not amphipods, but what?

Ok this was the best pic I could get. These do not look like amphipods to me because the amphipods are right next to them. These guys look like small dots (white, orange) with little tenticles coming out of them. Some with 8, some with only 3. Some with 5 but different sizes. I've counted so far that my eye can see 200+ does anyone have a clue. I really don't want to have to wait it out to see the affect on my tank

Are they motile, moving about like the Amphipods ???

Not at all, more stationary, but they seem to be growing in numbers, I noticed a couple of them like 4 or 5 days ago, and then bam! 100's on the glass.

Likely it is : Staurocladia oahuensis - Reef Frontiers Coral ID Reference

They are common in freshly set up tanks, and usually disappear over time. I never worried about them.

Hydroid was what i was thinking. Never saw them cause problems.

Hydroids. I had them, then they disappeared. Not bad as far as I know
