Measuring a slim 18 x 11 inches, this fixture packs a punch!!!
Using the latest in technology Oceans By Design has customized the 180w fixture to include: 6 clusters of twelve high powered Bridgelux LEDs, 72 3 watt chips in total. This allows you to easily light a two foot square area, and provides more than enough par to grow any type of coral in your aquarium depths. It also provides the needed spectrum to excite as many pigments in the coral as possible.
Controllability can be done through the LCD screen or via a remote (incl.) and will allow you to set sunrise and sunset effects, along with a moonlight setting. The ability to dial in your desired light (from 10K-20k and above) gives you the control you want.
Fixture has two main channels including:
The white channel which contains Cool white, Warm white, Royal blue, Blue, Cyan and violet LEDs which brings in the balance of light for day time balance.
The blue channel contains blue, royal blue, violet, and cyan LEDs which furthers the light intensity. This channel controls the 4 outer clusters, so that you can simulate dawn and dusk effects.
With this layout there isn't a separation of light beams; just full balanced color over your tank.
