My dear but sometimes misguided friend has given me some advice over the phone about this little fellow here. She believes that this is probably the cause of my missing zoas, due to the coloration and the addition of cirri on the back of the animal. If anybody can confirm this I'm sure that it would be a huge boost to her ego ;) Thanks for the help!!

sorry the pictures aren't that great but said friend was too busy to bring over her nice camera.

yeah it looks like your friend was right at least for me, i believe those like to eat zoos make sure you don't have any eggs in your tank because otherwise... bye bye zoos.

Boy your friend sure was smart when she told you to take it out and get a photo on a white background ....too bad she was too busy to come over with her camera....I'm sure it would have been a much better picture ;) lol. Besides, I heard your friend's little one has the stomach flu and could potentially leave you something not so fun to clean up.

;) Aside from how smart your friend is....I would definately keep an eye out for any more. You might want to take the zoa colony out and look for eggs or any other nudis. It looks like a zoa predator to me.

I'm thinkin you run in the right circles Btuck... having a friend that can quickly ID sumptin like that for you, and get you posting pictures here so quickly for additional input!!! *Grinz*

After an exhausting 5 minute search I came across something that looked similiar to my little friend, but not quite. So after another 5 painful minutes I was so bored looking at the same little creatures I decided to do a water change.

Once the water change was completed I decided to do some more research on how to get rid of these little buggers.

Many thanks go to Finn for the FW iodine dip method!!!!

Once the fresh water iodine dip was completed there were a handful of other smaller nudi's and a few dead copapods. I did also find what looks like a few small curly cue looking egg cases and pulled them off with forceps. Hopefully my zoa's will be happier now without little buggers eating them.

ROFL - Boomer, I told him the search would be quick on Seaslug forum

Brian - glad to see you followed up with the dip. Let us know how the colony does!

Here is a better picture of this little bugger. I decided a black background would show off the colors a little better:
