I have got my hands on a 3o gallon cube and need some idea's

The goal is to house mainly Sps (maybe a few Lps)

does anyone know if u are able to drill this tank? Was thinking about putting a 1" overflow in it to a diy 15 gallon sump.

Lighting was going 2 be a 175 watt metal halide with a 20k bulb

hmmm what sould i run for a return pump?

Couldn't say if the tank could be drilled. Usually a tank that small isn't tempered if I can remember correctly, but your best bet would be to email/contact the manufacturer. I did this before with my 24gal Aquapod. I just emailed them asking if any of the tank's glass was tempered and they were happy to respond. As for a return pump, Eheim seems to get the most praise here so I'd look into one of them. Anywhere about 600 gph or so is a nice sized pump for a return IMO.

Good luck with the build! :)

I think that the rounded corners on most nanos ARE indeed tempered because the corner needs strengthen. I agree with Krish though, you need to call and make sure so don't take my word on that.
