You can get them on ebay for 15bux. A very good piece of equipment when testing lighting , pump's....etc. Allows you to really see if specs are met. With the newest generation of odyssea everyone was testing there mh's out and they were only pulling 150-160w for the 250w model.

I have some information. I decided to cut my wires off the original ballast and wired up a IceCap ballast.
Dear god the light intensity is probably double....I can not even look under the hood at an angle without feeling blinded bad.... previously I was able to look with little squinting...my hand under the light by 4" got warm but I could hold it there.
With the new ballast I could probably get a burn... heat and light intensity very large difference.
I am beginning to believe that the ballasts that come with this brand dont put out the 250.
In other words: Confirmed the ballasts are supreme crap.
