Did you do any mods to it ed? Mine is going up tomorrow as soon as the stain in dry enough. I did wonder how tippy it would be sitting on carpet, mine is going right next to the kids area with the Xbox and game chair and computer, a very high traffic area..

the foam was cut on prefilter to fit before pump, and little live rock rubble in the sump.

Hi Ed wow thats a very Nice nano you have there! I really like the arrangement you have. Now what we need to do is add 2"-3" of sand and drop a pair of Pistol shrimps in there and you will have your own ant farm :lol:

Ed how's the heat in yours doing? Mine is rediculous, I added one maxi jet and with the lid shut it was 85 yesterday; no colors in there as I'm using it for a QT right now so I have to prop the lid open and have a fan on it, it's pretty annoying. I think I'm going to take the eheim out and put in a jet and see if that helps. It didnt change when I added the MJ so I'm sure it is not it.

Elmo she is using a mj 1200 un-modified.

Change it to an MJ900. Much less wattage, very little water flow loss.

Well I have to get an adaptor to switch the eheim out for a regualr maxijet. I think it's the eheim causing the temp. I took out the 1200 for now.
