Ok silly Q, but how do you clean coralline off of acrylic??

Question says it all. I just use a razorblade on my glass tank, but I don't think that will work too well on acrylic...:rolleyes:
 
Hi Becky. Not a silly question at all.

I prefer to use 1/4" block "i believe 2"x4" of a softer grade of acrylic to clean mine. It slides easily and doesn't scratch the harder acrylic.

I also have used old credit cards. Just be careful if the credit card is frayed. It can still scratch it.

You need something softer than the acrylic. I use the Kent Pro Scrapers. They do a great job but the blades wear down pretty quickly, especially if you let the coralline get out of hand. I also use old credit cards. Some people use scrap pieces of acrylic, but I have never tried that.
