anyone ever have the black spiney urchin eatting up their zoos, i just got home and notice my pink lemonade frag just got consume by him..and he was also attacking my red zoos ....first time ever seeing that happen...

yeah i cant say that is much of a surprise......most urchins are not overly reef safe. what they dont eat they usually knock over. long spines are generally fairly safe....but when there isnt enough algae/in-fauna for them to graze on they wont hesitate to eat corals....'specially zoas and other polyps.

is all sea urchin is not reef save? i have a sea urchin that have orange, white, and black spines on it. don't know the name for it. so far it just knock down few corals here and their.should i take it out from my tank before it do some damage to my zoas?

I dont think your urchin is the culprit. But he could bother them alot.
Of course without any info on your tank its all guessing. Like tanks size and age?Water readings? Stock? Equipment used?
