I asked Mojo very nicely if us Military Members could get a "Military Member" Tag like the one in my Signature.

He said I needed to get all of us Military Members identified and let him know who we are so we can get a group to get our tag ;)

I'll start...

Name: Ryan
Service: U.S. Navy
Length of Service: 11 yrs & counting

Duty Stations:

NAS Whidbey Island 2000-Present

Deployments:

Sembach, Germany 2008-2009
USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72) 2010-2011 (The Cruise that should of never been)

Look forward to see how many military members we have that enjoy keeping our own piece of the ocean in our house.

A soldier is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life! That is an honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact!

A BIG Ooh-rah! to all military Personnel both Former and Present.

Some of my favorite military quotes,

“Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem. “
—President Ronald Reagan—

"We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us."

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
--John Stewart Mill--

Alrighty then we got some crusties I see!! So now as per the member badge rank thing, I am a bit restricted by size so would it work if I did one up like the ones we have but say in military color with name?? Or should we look for one like you have mike but shrink it down to the same size??

And then one last thing, Getting one for the military is no problem, but what are we supposed to do with all these tug boat drivers???:bolt::dance::yield:

lol

I like the Military Member idea....I think we ALL owe them a bit of respect. I would love to serve my country....but I am unable to do so from decisions I made before....and after I turned 18..:decision:..I tried though....but there are only so many waivers you can get.:spy:

Either way, I for one solute you guys:usa2:

I'm the only one I see with a picture :D
If you took the military member symbol I have in my sig, you can shrink it down. Another recomendation is to start a forum for military to post up when they join to get the tag, or you can make this a sticky ;)

Ryan do you remember where you got that tag?? it would be alot easier if I could get it as a jpeg already. As per the forum I dont want to do that but we could stick this thread in the water cooler or feedback forums after it has made its run here.
