Hi everyone - I am looking for a new skimmer for my sump. I have a 125g FOWLR tank and need a new skimmer. I currently run a Coralife Superskimmer 125 and really hate it.
I need something that will fit in the sump. My space is 8" x 13.5".
The Tunze really looks like a nice fit for the space and size tank.

Any opinions or other advice would be greatly appreciated.

They are nice if you have limited space, but the 9010 is not enough for a 125g with sump. The 9020 would be much better.

I just replace my Euroreef ES5-3 with a Tunzi 9010. Except for a little noise that it makes, I love it. Much easier to use than any other skimmer I have had (ASM, Euroreef) takes less space, and skims well. Mine is on a 135g with a 40g sump. You may want to read their sizing information in detail, because the main published rating is for a light to medium loan and not SPS. The give factors to apply for SPS.
