BTCAT....Big Tom Custom Acrylic Tanks! A new company I now own...Pm me for pricing:p

Other than that, I love the tanks I've seen come from IAP and CFI. Also ***whispers*** all-glass

BTCAT makes some awesome products.
But I'm looking into glass, same as Jiddy. Right?

Glass is cool  I just did a water change tonight and had to scrape some coraline that started growing on the glass and I scraped the hell out of it which is cool because you can't try that crap with acrylic. :)

Low amounts of iron and pixie dust.

And im not looking for a tank, but if i was, it would be glass, thanks for the help.

A club member had a glass 380 built by Miracles Aquariums, out of Canada. www.miraclesaquariums.com

As reference, they quoted me for a 48x24x28 with 9x6 overflow and three holes, plus one extra closed loop hole in the back, and Starphire... $685.

Yes, I have an Interamerican tank from Mitch. The only problem is timing. I ordered mine late August and Mitch gave me an October 31 date. I told him December 1 was fine, but to shoot for Thanksgiving. He was done mid January which ended up being fine since the Builders were even later. The tank ended up sitting for a few weeks anyway. Mitch builds a great tank and stand. He made the tubular steel stand for the tank and had it powder coated. Starphire glass is low-iron glass and ultra-clear. Only draw-back is on long spans, you have to use two panes laminated together. Mitch is the only one I know of who does this. My tank was like 1300 lbs dry. Just make sure and plan it down to the last detail and make sure Mitch understands your design. Try to talk to Mitch, Sr. if you can and ask for Neal to get straight answers on updates.

As for Acrylic, try James at Envision Acrylics. He is building me an Acrylic Corner Pentagon around 350 gallons. You can see the thread over on www.zeovit.com under "350 Progress".
