I have a CPR style overflow draining to my sump. I have a "durso" style stand pipe that I made and drilled the cap and put airline into.
My problem is that I have a lot of flushing noise coming from the hose itself. The stand pipe is quiet. The hose I am using is a "ribbed" Grey flexible hose, I am wondering if a smooth interior to the hose would quiet it down?
The hose outlet is below the waterline in the sump, and there is a lot of air coming out the end.
Thanks

mine dose the same it will bubble a lot but that is fine mine makes no noize how wide is your hose to your sump you might need a biger one.

mine is about 2 1/2 ID but thay also make a filter type tube ring that goes inside your overflow that will keep it quiet.
hope that helps let me know if it worked
