I have a CPR style overflow draining to my sump. I have a "durso" style stand pipe that I made and drilled the cap and put airline into.
My problem is that I have a lot of flushing noise coming from the hose itself. The stand pipe is quiet. The hose I am using is a "ribbed" Grey flexible hose, I am wondering if a smooth interior to the hose would quiet it down?
The hose outlet is below the waterline in the sump, and there is a lot of air coming out the end.
Thanks
