Overflow question

I have been in the industry for a long time and have been constantly playing with different spec's. This is what I have settled on. Some tank builders have a .250" gap with a .500" tooth and with a height of only 1.00". If that works for them great. If you need any additional numbers, just call.

what about for a overflow that is 6 inch \ 5 inch _ and 6 inch / so it looks like this \_/ what should the teeth be

I wasn't douting your expertise, I just did not know if there was a formula you based your measurments on.
