An easy method to find out the exact amount of ozone required is to measure the redox potential of the water with the "Sander Redox-Potential Meter". It turns the ozonizer on and off automatically. For this operation the rheostat should be turned to 100%.
For the start-up we recommend to increase the ozone output slowly over period of 14 days to let the biology of the aquarium adjust to the better water quality.
