I have a Pacific Coast Chiller which is showing E1 on it's display this morning. I am about to fly out for four days and I can't find what the E1 means. Does anyone know? ACK!

I don't see that on any of their manuals. You may want to just give them a call:

Shauna,

I don't know which chiller you have. I have the CL650, and just checked my User's Manual. Unfortunately, they don't go into much in their troubleshooting section at all.

They do, however, have both a phone number as well as E-mail address to contact them for Technical Support.

I know that Stang69 purchased a USED CL-650... and contacted their support number... and had AWESOME results, even with ensuring they understood that this was a USED unit. One of the deciding factors I used when I purchased mine... their awesome technical support. Hopefully, they can get things working for you before your trip!

E1 represents the code for Error #1. That normally means that the unit detected a Canadian operator, and will permanately shut down in fear.

Just kidding Shawna :D But seriously, if James got all the pistons and rods ballenced, I could pick up his engine this afternoon and take a look at the chiller while I'm there. I didnt design it, so I cant guarentee I can fix it, but I seem to have a pretty good win/looses ratio when it comes to fixing things.

Just PM me if you wana do that.
