Nikki,
Yeah he's a starry blenny. He's the only one I've ever seen. He's just like a lawn mower but he's dark and has blue and white spots all over him. He hangs out in the star polyps all the time.
Lets see: 2 percs, diamond goby, royal grama, blue fiji damsel, Purple tang(The Mayor), brittle star, bali star, blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp, snails & crabs & various other critters.
50lbs of live rock, 25lbs of base rock. 3 types of zoo's, 6 types of shrooms, 2 types of star polyps, colt coral (that breaks almost weekly, its growing everywhere), Xenia that started as one small stalk and now its everywhere including growing in the middle of some zoo's (I was told this wasn't possible because the zoo's would kill the xenia
) Sun polyps (my favorite), Yellow polyps. 2 sps corals. The montepora was the size of a dime when I got it. Now its the size of a small coffee cup. The other was about an inch tall with no branches. Now its 4 inches tall with many branches. Not bad for pc's
.
As for equipment: 20 gal sump with ETS reef devil (that I'm not real pleased with at this point) Mag 7 on skimmer and return. SKWID, 2 aquaclear power heads, aquaclear 110 thats used for carbon only. coral life 265w pc with l.e.d.'s. DIY cooling fans behind canopy. Lights are on timers.
Saint:
Memphis in May was great. Some good friends of ours actually won the rib division! The team was called Pork-a-sorus. Needless to say we had a good time that night! It was the biggest bbq fest I've seen in many years.
