I have a 1 HP PCI Chiller and I was wondering what kind of maintenance PCI users do.

It has been in operation for about 2 years now, it seems to be running just fine, although it is very cold here now so it isn't running all that much, mostly just the heaters are running.

A friend of my dads has a strong air compressor so I was thinking of taking the shell off and using that to just blow out any dust, but I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not.

What kind of maintenance, if any, should I be doing?

Thank you!

Yup just blow it out. All chiller need this every now and again. Also remove the hoses and check for ca precip in the Ti coil. If there is any on the inlet or outlet then pump vinegar through the chiller to get it all out.

Thats about it.

You also want to lube the fan every 3-6 months per the manufacturers recommendation.
