Not likely that they're the same species. There isn't a lot of information in the wider world about identification, but of the pictures I've seen there's a huge variety of them that look very similar.

Right now he/she, I haven't gotten a good look at the underside, is living in a 20 gallon glass tank with plenty of caves and about 4 inches worth of substrate, running an ancient tetra whisper, and a titanium catalina for the heater. I do have a 400 Maxi powerhead in there but I unplugged it for the time being. The first thing he did when he got into the tank was try to kill the powerhead.
