Peppermint shrimp hate me........

So 8 peppermint shrimp and 75.00 later (added them at two different times).........Only one survived........none of them ate any of my aptasia and the one survivor spends his day in back of the tank...stuck to a rock....rocking back and forth. %^$#@$^**!!! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I used some kalk paste and it worked fast.

What exactly are you doing to kill all of the shrimp? They don't exactly just expire by themselves without reason...

We have had great success with a peppermint shrimp in one tank and not in another. Our 46 gallon bowfront had aip. and it was gone after 2 days with "Minty".

He's made it a few weeks now. Tank is 6 mo old.

Many peppermint shrimp are not really peppermint shrimp. There is a temperate shrimp that looks almost exactly like pepperming shrimp except they are a little larger that will not live long in tropical water. They are sold almost as often as real peppermint shrimp.
