I have been applying peroxide to my rock when I do a WC. Pulling it scrubbing rinsing and putting back in the tank. It really works wonders, and I haven't heard any horror stories about dipping corals, even kind of dipped a diggi, when scrubbing the plug in a weaker mix. Unfortunately I don't have the I lack the back bone to dip my acans, and am hoping some one might have a recommended ratio of water to peroxide to start w/. Maybe a good story or 2 of dipping their LPS this way. Thx

aah gotcha, i heard it works well on bubble algae also. Never used it myself. Best thing is good nutrient export to keep if from getting a foot hold

Got that in abundance....just left over from the almost crash. Looking better everyday

So I found my nerve and did a short 3 min dip on one of my acan frags today. Ratio was 10-2 aquarium water to peroxide and the frag came out all good so far. Pissed but no damage. HA turned white, and I used a tooth brush to scrub the plug around the frag.

As you can see mad, but it has been opening back up. Will try this on a couple of my other acans.
