Depends on the ballast you're running.

On a PFO ballast, I ran both bulbs and the 12K reeflux to me was more blue than the 14K Hamilton

Are you running double ended because you never said which one?

sorry good point. they are 150 watt de electronic hqi powerpaq bulbs. i wanted something as blue as possible without sacrificing too much par

Go with the phoenix...I have 250w DE on my 75 and have used the phoenix in the past and currently using the reeflux 12k..In my opinion the phoenix are brighter...I have no fancy equipment to back that up just going by what I see..BOTH bulbs will give you a nice blueish tint

Thats a link to Sanjay Joshi's webpage with all the bulbs he's tested. YOu should be able to find what your looking for there.

In the 250 watt versions, the Phoenix 14K's (only available in DE) have proven to be high in PAR and fairly blue as well. DOnt know much about the Reeflux 12K bulbs.

well i went with phoenix after i saw what sanjay said about the reeflux bulbs and their ppfd readings. thanx for the help guys and i love the way the bulbs look. nice and blue. much bluer than i expected so far but getting a little whiter as they burn in
