Hey Guys...

Last Thursday I added 2 Grade A Picasso Clownfish to my tank. The next day I looked in my tank on one of them didn't look to good. He was swimming pretty wobbly and now has a swollen eye. I have a 125 gallon reef tank thats 7 months old with 10 different fish. I am yet to lose a fish. My water quality is perfect. I shortly figured out after my damsel was messing with him. Rght after I saw that I caught my damsel and flushed him. The Picasso seems to be doing better but his eye is still quite swollen. He has a hard time swimming straight but seems to be ok other than that. I believe the damsel popped him in the eye which is causing his swimming issues. Does anybody have any advice on healing/saving my fish? I would greatly appreciate it.

well you can do one of two things. you can let it heal on its own. or what i have been told. you can take a needle and pop his eye. if it was me. i would let it heal on its own.

should I isolate him so it doesn't get worse? Somebody told me to take an ice cream bucket, poke a bunch of holes in it, put the fish in it and put it in my tank. Do you think that is a good idea?

its up to you. sounds like you already made a fix for the route cause. damsels are very mean. i would let the fish go in the tank and let it heal on its own.

We need pics of the fish to get a better idea of what it actually has and what the best course of action is.
