"I love games!"

LOL

Ok, raise your hand if you've started a FO tank just so you could keep that one special fish that you can't have in your reef. I've considered it but never done it.

Not yet, but I am ditching a 39 gallon for a 100 gallon and upgrading lighting and concidering a calcium reactor because I want to keep a clam and some SPS.

My wife wants all kinds of fish that aren't reef safe so I'm in the process of planning a FOWLR tank. I've just about got her convinced that she could have my existing tank and we could move the reef over to a new larger tank.

We did!

Ten months ago when hubby first brought home the 55 gallon glass box that was to become the reef he told me we could have seahorses in it.

So I started doing the research on seahorses... and started saying things like... "you can't have anemones", "you can't have that fish", "you can't have that flow"... etc, etc, etc. "not compatible with the seahorses.

Next thing I knew we had a new 37 gallon tank for seahorses.

It's ok though.. matches the decor with the 90 gallon freshwater tank and the 55 gallon turtle tank and the 10 gallon guppy tank we already had.

Now we have 4 grown seahorses and 8 three month olds we've raised and two nursery tanks, and 31 culture tanks for phyto, rotifers, pods, brine, mysis.....etc. And we live in a single wide mobilehome!

All because the LFS had a sale on that 55 gallon reef tank!! :p

I set up my 29g to be a predator tank of some kind, I knew I wanted something that couldn't be kept in the reef. I wanted a arrow crab or a frogfish, but I decided a Eel would be the most compatable for what I wanted to do with the tank.

I have a Green Wolf Eel now. I really enjoy having a species tank. My reef tank is kind of like that, it's only going to have my Flame Angel and other small gobies. It is basically a Flame Angel reef.

I have a pic of the eel in my gallery.

I also have a video of the eel eating that I made tonight.

Don't have one yet, but it's bound to happen, as we loves the little pufferfishies :)

And then my fiance wants eels, and his PNW tank, and I still have my cichlids and monster plecos...

I suspect we will need to build a home just so we can wire and plumb to suit :)

Hmmmm......maybe I need to take hubby "fish shopping" so he can have my current tank :D

this is the whole reason my wife has a tank. she really wants a P. radiata.

Gordo

Well, Gordo is telling little white lies! This is SeattleFishGirl, his WIFE, and he in no way has me convinced to take his little 72 gal for my FOWLR! I want too many fish that get way too big for 72gals! I could keep maybe 2 and that just isn't enough!

I still love ya hon!
