Steve are you tryin to tell me that you dont buy drugs already? Im teasin, but since you had to buy those reflectors, are you havin any problems with CoolTouche's Cust.Service, i think ill be buyin my fixture from them.
 
Sryder and Jiddy, Nope and Nope, I used to but not anymore. LOL I decided I didnt wanna die. LOL Cool touchs customer service has been great. If you would like I will pm you thier website, they are not a sponsor and it is not fair unless you ask me too. I am very impressed so far. The true test is going to come with how it works. Steve
 
I got shipping confirmation from cool touch. Scheduled delivery monday the 18th, I paid them on monday the 11th. Not to shabby. I just keep taking the bulbs out of the package with my gloves and staring at them. I think I may need to go to reef tank rehab. I hope they have coffee there. LOL Steve
 
Its on the way. Nope, just lucked up on them. I did do a lot of research on them though. Been around since 1997. Mainly hydroponics now getting into reef lighting as well.
 
Here it is, lights were delivered today. The bulbs are burning in, the corals are upset, because they have been with out light for 4 hours and just had a water change.

compared to your marlbro box that ballast is huge!
Have you given any thought on possiably hanging it off the bottom, away from splashes etc?
 
Yes I did, What I did was put in 1"x1" Square wood to keep it off the floor of the tank. I had to do a lot of rearranging to get it to fit. The major problem is that it is about 1/2 inch longer than my stand is wide. Just wont hardly fit anywhere. That was the best I could do for now. I will keep thinking on it and see what else I can come up with. Here is a pic now that the lights are starting to get bright, and the corals are starting to open back up. I am losing lots of light untill I get the spider refectors in. Thanks Scooty.
 
yea I see your cramed for space, sorta like mine, I can't wait to try and fit a reactor & new bigger skimmer in there lol, it is crazy!
 
I tried stomping them in and slamming the door but it just wont work like a 454 in a 64 chevelle. LOL I just need to make my own stand with cabinets on each side. Then I could put a fuge on one side, a sump in the middle, a kalk reactor in the other with all power supply and ballasts. That would be super cool. Thanks man. Steve
